We experienced a brief disruption to mail flow yesterday for customers using our relay and MX services. Although the outage itself was restricted the impact was felt for a number of hours due to DNS caching. As a result of yesterday’s outage we have replaced the faulty component of the system with both new software and hardware solutions which will enable us to provide the fast and reliable mail services you normally experience.
If you use any of our mailMX, mailRelay or mailFeed services and are experiencing mail flow issues today please raise a ticket with the helpdesk and we will review your individual issue.
Windows Mail is currently unavailable due to emergency maintenance, it is anticipated it will be offline for no more than 20 minutes.
We will be completing a period of maintenance on a selection of our webservers between 13:00 and 17:00 today. This will result in a short period of downtime for each server within this window, it is estimated to be no longer than 15 minutes.
We will be performing routine server patching until 06:00 this morning. During this period you may experience a short period (circa 5 minutes) where you cannot access your website or email. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenienced caused by this important work.
